I know, I am so late to the game BUT here is my list of shows i will be posting reactions to this year (Yay for fall TV!!!!)

Monday
Castle- this is a shared show with hubby so I will probably never drop this

Sleepy Hollow- FINALLYYYYYYY

Gotham- here for Selina Kyle. And nobody is surprised.

Tuesday
Person of Interest- also a shared show so I am so annoyed that my husband has an international mission during the premiere and I will have to wait to watch.  #firstworldproblems

Agents of SHIELD- so glad 12_12_12 is also on the bandwagon!From the spoilers it sounds like Fitzsimmons are going to be weaning from codependency! :DDDD

Agent Carter- mayyybe. I'm not super excited about it. But it's MCU and I'm a completionist so I will probably watch it.


Wednesday
Arrow- Here for the Olicity. That's pretty much it. I have such deep and thoughtful reasons for watching this show, I know.

Thursday
Reign- my new fave.

Grey's anatomy- I AM A LIFER. I LOVE THIS SHOW OKAY.

Elementary- not excited about the new season spoilers, so this one is iffy

TVD- ditto the spoilers. That preview was the opposite of exciting.

ETA: How to get away with Murder- this show looks AMAZING.

I'm also (so far anyway) a GA lifer. We will have to see what the brave, new, Cristina Yang-less version looks like before I can give you my real feelings, but given she, Lexie, Izzie and Alex were always my Reasons For Watching, and I am the opposite of invested in Alex/Jo, I'm not sure how this is going to go!

I'm 6 episodes into AoS, and I'm kinda over it? It's just... not really my cup of tea but I was desperate to something in common with my flist and so I tried but... Yeah.

Awww. Yeah, I am interested in how Merideth and Derek will work out their pretty intense conflicts of interest and Japril (sorry!), but post Cristina GA will be a little sad. I still find all the eps suck me in emotionally though, even if my fave is not on screen- one of the few shows that does this, TBH. Like the patient dramas really interest me.

:( Yeah, AoS isn't for everyone. Have you watched the MCU movies?

Yep, I 1000% agree that this (damn) show still has the ability to suck me in emotionally as well. It's the reason I'm still hanging in there, for sure!

I've heard some potentially good and some definitely bad (IMO!) spoilers for the coming season so I very much suspect I'll be in til the bitter end, but we will see. It'll need the emotional pull to keep me in because they keep getting rid of the characters/relationships that used to achieve this for me by default!!

Re: AoS. Nope, I haven't seen any of the movies. I was told it wouldn't matter (and I think that's true, I mean, I completely understand what's going on etc), but it's just really not my thing. I might try a few more episodes because I really DO want something big in common with my flist, but we will see!

I might just have to GA meta at you each week to make up for it :) also, no need to apologise for Jackson/April love!! I used to love it, then I hated it, then I REEEALLLY hated it, and now I'm kinda meh, but I could probably get back on board if they do it well.

The Good Wife is a legal drama (with a side of politics). Homeland is a crime drama (with a side of politics) and The Newsroom is a media/journalism drama (with a side of politics).

The West Wing is a political drama (with a side of media/journalism).

I haven't been that psyched about any shows coming back this season, but that's good because then it makes their return seem longer. Once they start up again I'll be excited though. Yay for Sleepy Hollow today, I should've rewatched it because I barely remember what happened last season, but then again I'm only watching for the amazing chemistry between Abbie and Ichabod, so it doesn't matter too much. They'll have a recap before the episode, so that'll remind me. ;)

I can't wait for AoS to come back though, I just finished my rewatch of it a couple of days ago, so I can't wait to see what happens with that. I'm all MCU-ed out at the moment, I rewatched Captain America last night in preparation for getting Cap 2 on Blu-ray soon, and I'll be watching The Avengers this week before that so I can get the full effect for Cap 2. I may or may not be very excited to watch them both again. :D And I'm glad I have AoS to fill the gaps (kinda) while waiting for new MCU movies.

Agent Carter yesss! How could you not be excited by that? Peggy is so awesome, I loved watching her again last night, and I'm sure the show will be great. I'm a bit iffy on the cast announced so far all being males, so fingers crossed we get some decent female roles in there as well. I'll still watch, but the MCU is in desperate need of more women in it, so it would be disappointing to have the Smurfette principle come into effect for this.

I like Olicity enough but I can't help but wonder what they're going to do with the spoilers for them I've been reading. I do like them but I'm not that obsessed, so I'll probably be happy with whatever we get of them. I'll be checking out Flash though, so that'll be cool to get into.

I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy in season five, I can't even imagine what it must look like now. But I understand not being able to let go, and if you're still enjoying it then why the hell should you?

I actually didn't like the first Captain America movie at all. Like it bored me so much that I turned it off halfway through... :/

It isn't that Grey's is hard to let go of at all! I love it and I know a lot of fans hate how their faves have left and been written out but it consistently grabs me emotionally. Like the patient dramas really resonate with the theme of the episode and the arcs of the mains, the symbolism they use, the songs, the emotional realism. It's all really well thought out. Some of the storylines (Ghost sex, sinkhole under Seattle) were not very believable but all in all I think it deserves a lot more accolades than it gets.

And yay Sleepy Hollow, so excited!!

I was bored stiff while watching Cap 1 the first time, I barely got through it. Then I started really liking Steve in Cap 2 (I saw it at the movies 5 times) so I've rewatched it a couple of times since then and now I really love it. But I love Steve and I'm so enamoured of him I could watch him do nothing and still be entertained. XD You should try giving it another go? Skinny!Steve is adorable and then watching his adventures is great. And I love Peggy, she's such an amazing character, especially having to be a woman in that kind of era/setting, and the love story between her and Steve is the best one of the MCU and the only one I buy besides Tony/Pepper.

Ah ok, well I'm glad something you enjoy has gone on for so long, and that you're actively still liking it, that's gotta be rare for a show that's gone on as long as it has. It really was amazing during the peak of S2, I still remember how obsessed I used to be with it.

Sleepy Hollow was pretty good, Abbie and Ichabod were electric to watch, as per usual. And I'm glad they've got more episodes this year, but I hope it doesn't mean the quality drops. Only time will tell.

Tbf I went in completely biased against it because it's called Captain freaking America, I mean, that's a lot to get past. And I enjoy it more every time I watch it!

I was surprised to see John Cho as well, but it was awesome. At least he was himself and not that creepy twisted thing he spent most of the first season being.

I'm glad I'm at work when AoS airs because they block tumblr there and I'm not tempted to go on my dash and possibly be spoiled. It was a good episode though. :D

But seriously, I think having more experience with his character really helps with the liking of him. And he isn't as flashy as the other Avengers, but he's the one I identify with the most, so that also helps. Plus Skinny!Steve is just too adorable, I love him when he was like that and just wanting to help out and prove himself.

I enjoyed the Sleepy Hollow premiere but it didn't blow me away or anything. I'm mostly here for Ichabod being clueless about cellphones and Abbie being ass kickingly awesome though so I guess in some ways the plot is vaguely irrelevant for me!

Gotham was surprisingly strong for me given that it's only a pilot. I thought it was really well done and felt more cohesive than pilot episodes often do. Selina was great even though so hasn't really said anything yet!
