I bet I have forgotten stuff but listing what I remember anyway!

Films: All of these I saw in theater unless stated otherwise. I am still bummed I missed Terminator: Dark Fate in theater, but I literally had no days off I could go, so I will have to catch it on video.

To All the Boys I Have Loved Before (via Netflix) LOVEEEEEE! Re-watched twice already!
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World- Disappointing and emotionally hollow instead of a resounding home run.
Captain Marvel- Carol/Maria are a couple and nothing you say will convince me otherwise
Avengers: Endgame- they killed one of my faves, left the other dead (but replaced her with herself from another timeline), and made Valkyrie a Good Girl picking up after Thor. I loved Tony Stark's ending and that was about it.
Aladdin (2019)- LOVE and Speechless is such a good song!
Alita Battle Angel (on video)- gave me such Arya Stark vibes but wasn't very good
Spiderman: Far From Home This Peter Parker is the most adorable version of Peter Parker. The Blip though, seriously?!
Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (on video) SOOOO GOOD! Wish I had seen it in theater good!
天気の子- Disappointing. Not anywhere near as good as 君の名は although very pretty and chock full of Tokyo scenes that hit right in the nostagic feels.
Ocean's 8 (via Netflix)- SO MUCH FUN
Terminator: Genisys (on video)- I loved Emilia Clarke and Arnie in this.
La La Land (on video)- So boring. Why did this win so many awards?
Toy Story 4 (on video)- So much better than I expected! Wish I had seen it in theater!
Frozen 2- SO GOOD! Want to re-watch in theater so I can ugly cry again. LOL
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker- Such a disappointing film but very pretty.
Gemini Man (on video)- I enjoyed this a lot!

TV: Netflix has its fist tight around my household, so it takes a lot more effort to watch stuff NOT on Netflix. That said, it was basically the year of GoT for me:

Game of Thrones S8- If they had stopped at ep 3 I would hate it lots less.
Miraculous Ladybug S2 and 3- Adrien/Marinette forever although even my kids are like THEY ARE SO UNOBSERVANT HOW HAVE THEY NOT FIGURED IT OUT
Jane the Virgin S5 SUCH AN AMAZING FINAL SEASON
Good Omens- Loved it. Loved the fandom explosion more. LOL
Queer Eye S4 They are flawless and deserve ALL THE GOOD THINGS
Queer Eye We're in Japan- I still don't get why they picked Japan instead of say, England. But I don't care, it was lovely anyway.
Shadowhunters S3B- It fell a little emotionally flat? Disappointed by Maia's ending.
explained S1 and 2- I just like documentaries, and these ones are short and sweet.
A Series of Unfortunate Events- my daughter binged these so we had to too. So much fun!
The Dragon Prince S3 SOOOO GOOOD
Lost in Space S2 ALSO AMAZING I NEED MOAR ASAP

I have The Expanse, His Dark Materials and The Witcher on my to watch list, and I'm currently a few eps into The Mandalorian,The Arthdal Chronicles and Stranger Things.

Music: I still get most of my music introduced to me via soundtracks and Youtube but here's what I bought and/or listened to endlessly on Hoopla this year. Probably missing some because my iTunes timestamps are now hopelessly garbled with the switch in computer.

The Greatest Showman Reimagined
Ariana Grande: thank u, next
Banks: III
Billie Eilish: WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?
天気の子 soundtrack
Taylor Swift: Lover
Frozen 2 soundtrack

Books are on a separate post, but so far 52 for the year which looks like I read one book per week which is wildly inaccurate. (It's usually more like a book a month and then devouring three in 5 days.)

Fic: There are 13 pages in my AO3 history from 2019- last year was literally two fics read, apparently, so it was like going from 0 to 60000. What amazing things a finale that pisses me off will do, I guess. I didn't make that many GIFsets this year, but that will probably change now that I have a new laptop.

Special Recs: These are all Gendrya!
love, war and a few things in between by scrubclub The Gendrya HP enemies-to-lovers AU you didn't know you needed. Any fic by her is excellent, really. The Gendrya AU queen- Did it hurt? (superheroes!) and we can pretend that they don't know our name are especial faves.
approval by nymja Because The Hound being a cussing, grumpy jerk about Arya/Gendry is both heartwarming and hilarious. Oooh also her stitches is an amazing Arya & Sansa oneshot and the first arc in the fury will blow your miiind.
The Deal by joinedunderprotest Yes, this is an Arya/Gendry pegging PWP, but it's so much more about trust and exploring boundaries together.
Five times Arya Stark shared a bed with Gendry by vixleonard is a fandom classic for a reason.

My own fic stats here. I wrote 8 things this year and 6 of them were GoT and 4 of them were Gendrya, including my first crossover. Also wrote for Yuletide for the first time, which I was really pleased about- I'd always been too scared that I couldn't write any story fast enough for the deadline, and I wrote 2! (Neither of them are named below, just FYI.)

I think I'm proudest of Bound for structure/pacing/doing something original. It was basically half my words for the year too, woo!
Have to work on its followup next year, plus I want to write Podsa things.

Here's hoping the new year is just as productive, although I'd like to see some more endings that make sense and not HAHA YOU NEVER GUESSED THAT HUH as a driving force in the increasingly fewer studios feeding us all our media. Like didn't they learn their lesson from Lost a billion years ago? IDGI
