It didn't make me go !!! quite the same way as the other eps had, probably because I was still jetlagged and half asleep while I watched? Things I loved though:
A May-centric storyline! At last! The full-circle symmetry between Robin knowing her as "Mom" and that first Inhuman girl that May killed (while trying to get pregnant) is just... *cries* Plus I love how it's restored Melinda's faith in 2022- although everybody else seemed to be lost... :(
FitzSimmons got it on in their lab *snickers*. AND FITZ WAS WEARING A WEDDING BAND IN 2022! I can't talk about Jemma and Mack dying though what.
Of course Flint is key to Saving Humanity! Daisy walks off the Zephyr in the 2022 video with her arm braces on too, so Mack and Elena will obviously get them to her somehow, despite the "last time seen together" thing. Does the whole Zephyr go through time, maybe?!
I love Deke being back in the storyline! Him and Daisy coming to an understanding over their estranged dads was great. Also Deke's underwhelmed, "well that's cool too, I guess," compared to Jemma's gushing! XD
Also, totally team Fitz on time being fixed and not changeable. Because that is How The Universe Works. They could be in an Alternate Universe, but I'm not convinced of that, even with the events of Black Panther and Infinity War coming up in this one, since it looks like AoS World Destroying shit is going down in 2022 and not present day, plus Enoch and Robin (and Fitz) went through time the long way. Flint miiiight be able to put the planet/monolith back together again in not-Humpty Dumpty style in the future, but despite all the reasons Daisy wouldn't have for Quaking the world apart, pretty sure she's still going to do it because that's just how prophecies work. I'm betting on it being some failed attempt to prevent Earth Shattering consequences that backfires horribly.
Also a fic rec!
Thor: Ragnarok dropped on torrent on the weekend, so that always perks up fandom a bit!
SugarFey has written a few Thor/Brunnhilde|Valkyrie fics, but I LOVE her newest one, and how honest a depiction it is of Valkyrie's PTSD.
It Comes And Goes In Waves, Thor/Valkyrie, M, 3015 words
Also reeling from the news about Ursula Le Guin. :((( Found out while at the pool for my kids' swimming lessons and man.
