nrgburstSo for obvious reasons the Fitzsimmons part of my tumblr dash is basically !alskjlkajshf!kusahkau!!! :DDDDD Even the bit where he's walking towards her in shadow and she's all emotional because she can recognize the mere shape of him anywhere... SO MANY FEELINGS GUYS. All their silent communication finished off with both of them pulling badass Action Hero moves! LOOK AT HOW FAR THEY'VE COME!!! (Although the promo for 5x07 makes it look like Fitz's spaceship gets blown up, whoops. Pretty sure they're all going to the surface next ep to join May and Deke's Dad anyway since the ep title is "Together or Not at All".)
May's face when Fitz called her an ancient has-been! lmaooooo One odd note from the dialogue: why are Agents of Shield notorious 91 years in the future, after the world has already been destroyed?

fandom_stocking pinch hits so it'll be a PS kind of afternoon. :)

Sad and surprised to see Tess and Ben die! Although that Quill death was a relief- what do you bet it's somehow Flint and not Daisy that destroys the world? I was betting on Sinarra not dying because she has actual theme music, but now I think she's probably going to end up killing Kasius by the end of the season. His willingness to throw her under the bus obviously troubled him but HE STILL TOTALLY DID IT- and that look on her face when she saw the lengths Fitz went to for Jemma! And lollerskates at the even bigger brooch on Kasius' brother's chest! Larvae as status symbols I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH.
Elena tearing up watching the terrigenesis also gave me all the feels. :'D And that proud look Mack gave her when she was like, "He's just cool." :DDD
Enoch had the coolest closing line ever too. "I am not a person." :DDDDD SUCH AN AWESOME EP. I am slightly disappointed that nobody lost an eye with that ep title but nothing is perfect, eh? What did you all think?

As I understood this episode, they are both Historic and part of the Prophecy? I am a little puzzled how they can be friends/colleagues/enablers of the Destroyer of Worlds -- per Kasius' explanation to the spectators of the fight -- yet be the heroes of this Prophecy, but I suppose we don't know how history is narrated, exactly, and how precisely the Prophecy works...yet.
Me too -- argh, Tess. :( I understand that if you have many characters of color, some of them will end up dying in a show like this, and at least it's not the Black boy...but still.
And God, I know Ben had a pretty kickass power, but his greatest quality to me was that he was just so enormously beautiful. Really, I need to look up the actor and follow him around shows like a puppy from here on in.
I was betting on that, too; she's too interesting a character, namely in the sense that her story hasn't been told yet, whereas unfortunately Ben's had (I would have put money on him dying here). But I love that you saw...well, HEARD the evidence of a bigger role of hers.
SUCH a strong character touch; I was really emotionally affected, and as ever, Natalia Cordova-Buckley is hitting it out of the park.
The absolutely most adorable moment of the episode. Haha. Yes he is.

Date: 2018-01-07 04:40 pm (UTC)I actually thought the first narrative indication that she wasn't a one-dimensional loyal henchman came in this ep via Kasius' brother, when he referred to her as The Stray. So that should be interesting to uncover! Also with all this mention of Kasius' father, I'm guessing he'll end up the Big Bad of the year.
I capped Elena and Mack too but ran out of time! Will keep working on making icons today though. :D SUCH FUN TO REWATCH TOO.
