glossolalia by tremontaine, MCU, Bucky/Natasha. Language kink fic that runs from the sweetest love confession to incredibly erotic in less than 6000 words
Remember This by Yeomanrand, MCU, Bucky/Natasha. This was my gift forchocolateboxcomm this year and it's such a work of art that it bothers me that it doesn't have more kudos or comments. Natasha seemed to think Bucky should remember her in Civil War- this is a fic where he does, and the imagery and code-switching and even the ambiguity in the title are all perfection.
Private Contemplations by Margo_Kim, The Hobbit, Bilbo/Thorin, masturbation fic set within canon that is both scream-into-your-hands hilarious and poetic.
Disarm by livii, Edge of Tomorrow, Rita Vrataski/William Cage. There's barely any fic for Edge of Tomorrow. Which is fine because this coda fic hits it out of the park- raw, angsty and healing too.
Cold North Wind by sunflowerb, How To Train Your Dragon, Hiccup/Astrid but Valka-centric. A gorgeous coda fic about guilt and grief and moving on.
The Naming of Foxes by tielan, Pacific Rim, Mako/Raleigh. Beautiful coda fic in two perfect halves that somehow fit into an even better whole, just like drift partners should.

#I’ve never seen this parallel before but now that I have it is staggeringly obvious #and now I have entirely too many feelings about how much love for anakin skywalker luke must have passed on to his nephew #even if it somehow got perverted and twisted up and aimed in the wrong direction #(“I am a jedi like my father before me”) #(“grandfather show me”) #they both invest themselves (their /selves/) in a man they’ve never met; who was both the war hero luke imagined as a boy on tatooine #and the terrifying force for violence and destruction that kylo ren idolizes #………………… #there’s something to the idea that love for anakin can be both a redemptive force and a destructive one #but I don’t know what (notbecauseofvictories) - Kylo Ren & Luke Skywalker- beautiful meld of meta and timing and GIF choices. I just wish they'd made the GIFs a little bigger!
We would be living a lie- Anakin Skywalker/Padme Amidala- this is such gorgeous GIF blending and sharpening and coloring. Just. How much work went into each pieced together frame I AM BOGGLED.
