In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, crazy times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone.

After the big move back home, I wasn't active in fannish circles for about 6 months as we settled in (and battled paperwork and bureaucracy- superfuntimes) UNTIL THOR: RAGNAROK. It was so nice to be like, "hey guys, not dead; here have a playlist and icons and FIC IS COMING BECAUSE VALKYRIE IS THE BESSSST." And people were like, "yay, glad to see you! HOW AWESOME,"  as if I hadn't been away at all. :DDD

It was just like coming home, but with LESS PAPERWORK and much more squee. LOL

Falling into a new fandom is always the best feeling. :) Especially when there happens to be that one character that just grabs you and won't let go.

I've actually had mixed experiences jumping into new fandoms, but this was really my f-list (from all sorts of fandoms) being awesome and welcoming after I'd been MIA for ages. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy. :)
