Yeah, I tried shaking it out over the sink and the book was literally shedding, but that just made things worse. So now the book is going back to the library in a plastic bag and I am now on hold for the ebook version.
Like, fur was EMBEDDED IN THE PAGES. Did they brush their pets on top of their library books? WTF

I've been debating whether or not I'll sign up for fandom stocking--on the one hand, it looks like a lot of fun, on the other hand, I have so many other fandom-related things to do once school lets out and I finally have the time to write again...we'll see.

(Also, good God, who would leave pet hair in a library book?!)

Yeah, I was not happy, but well. People are kind of default thoughtless here instead of thoughtful? Like Tragedy of the Commons is waaay more easy to see here than in Japan, where people are socialized to be far more conscious of others.
