Sense8 has been cancelled by Netflix on the first day of Pride Month. :(((( Also, to nobody's surprise, Drumpf pulled the US out of the Paris Climate Accord, because America first 

I'm going to go write. Need to not be in this world for a bit.

ETA: I just donated to All Out. Just my usual monthly lunch money, but a little more proactive than making futile fist shaking posts.

Yeah, I signed the petition here. Timeless got uncancelled, so maybe Netflix will change its mind with enough publicity/noise!

I just saw the news about Sense8! It's really disheartening because whenever I feel like we're making strides towards better, more diverse and real representations in movies and tv, they're pulled way too quickly or don't get the same marketing etc.

Honestly, I wish we fans could have had some way to know our show was in trouble! Fandom can be galvanized into action, after all, but only if we are aware of poor ratings etc. :(((

*sighs* Because obviously, America doesn't share the same air, atmosphere, etc the rest of the world does. Dumpster Fire is going to make us have no allies in the end but maybe some totalitarian regimes...:/

I think it's the one-two punch of willful ignorance and determined selfishness that is just so freaking hard to believe. Like, wow dude. You have kids. It's not about your RATINGS or keeping your equally selfish buddies rich. It's about NOT GOING EXTINCT.
