Aw, thank you! I'm glad it came across. Because I get why people want the insta-love UST resolution fics, but that just didn't strike me as true to character for either of them? He knows traumatic loss, knows she'll need the time and support while she grieves. So the lack of kiss made so much sense to me despite the way he has to know she was drooling over his chiseled abs two days previous; the fact that he sees her as "the future" and she can see that in the Drift too. Shifting the relationship to romance at that point would just have been wrong. I'm soooo glad the movie deviated from the novelization this way. :P
