aw, this is great! I've always liked that Caroline feels safe and comfortable enough to be short with her mom. I mean, that sounds awful, because I do think the things she says hurt Liz more than she understands? But the fact that she doesn't feel like she has to put on the show for Liz, that she knows she won't be abandoned or hurt even if she isn't the perfect daughter all the time, that speaks really well of Liz to me.
