Some of my favorite written creations (either meta or fic) and GIFs have been for trope_bingo , so it's a comm that I really love. I wish it was more active, so here's hoping more people get into it! Amnesty round this time, and you have 6 months to get a bingo! 


Challenge #4

In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

Read! I set my Goodreads goal at 50 books for the year, and I think I grossly underestimated how much reading I can do now that I'm more used to ebook formatting. Always happy for recs! I love SF/Fantasy with romance on the side, but I'd like to read more Nonfiction too. Caveat: recs for female character-centric (or lgbtq character) stories please. 

I also have fics that I haven't looked at since early December that I need to get back to. 

Write! Finish For the Dawn and my chocolateboxcomm assignment and as many treats as I can. I don't have much work scheduled for February, which will help a lot.  Also my Original Fic needs planning. 

GIF! I still haven't installed PS back on my new laptop, but maybe tomorrow? I want to make icons and sets again. 

Finish filling the holiday_wishes I have bookmarked. I sent out three packages on Friday. Another should go out on Tuesday or Wednesday. 

Watch The Witcher and finish The Mandalorian.

Challenge #6

In your own space, make a list — anything between one and ten things is a sweet spot, but don't feel constrained by that! - of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, or that you'd like someone to make for you. Are you dying for podfic of your writing? Do you need icons for a character that doesn't get much fanart? Is there a story you want to read? Are you looking for new canons to get into? Would you like a collaborator for a project?

Maybe you want more people to talk about a certain fandom with, or you'd love to trade ficlets with somebody over email. Maybe you're new to a fandom and would like some recs to start reading, or communities to join. This is the time to ask!

1. Recs/fic for GoT fandom: 

I am dying for a good Sansa/Podrick fic. Or any Sansa/Yara fic that is like, actually Sansa/Yara fic. (Yes, I've already looked through all 14 works in the tag on Ao3 and they are not actually Sansa/Yara.) Recs for good Jojen/Bran (that is not them just in the background, please) and Greyworm/Missandei (same- as the MAIN couple, not the background). Also any good Jon/Dany fix-it fics without a billion other pairings. And Jaime/Brienne. Help me Obi wan Kenobi. 

2. Transformative works based on mine would be so awesome! Podfic, fanart, playlists, whatever! I particularly think Smitten (3000 words, Moana/Maui) would lend itself well to podfic, so I am putting that out in the universe.
